Overview:

A leading organization in the health, wellness, and fitness industry is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide exceptional support to individuals and their families. The BCBA will play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), conducting functional analyses, implementing behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and enhancing adaptive life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Support:

    • Provide comprehensive support in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including conducting functional analyses, assessments, and implementing behavior acquisition and reduction procedures.

  2. Training and Communication:

    • Deliver necessary training for Registered Behavior Technicians and communicate expectations to parents, service providers, and funders.

  3. Policy Adherence:

    • Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    • Ensure open communication with the Program Manager regarding client needs, service delivery concerns, and other relevant issues.

  4. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with families and other service providers to enhance intervention strategies, integrating them into Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).

    • Attend meetings and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  5. Process Management:

    • Complete assessments and develop reports within designated timelines using the behavior plan template.

  6. Oversight and Documentation:

    • Provide 1:1 oversight for Registered Behavior Technicians, ensuring compliance with BACB, funding, and center guidelines.

    • Maintain documentation of services in accordance with funder requirements, submitting reports within required timelines.

  7. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Understand and adhere to external accreditation standards, state, local, and federal laws, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Level: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related role

  • Skills:

    • Board Certification (BCBA) is mandatory

    • Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities

    • Supervision and training skills for guiding Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

    • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and regulatory standards

    • Proficiency in time management, organization, problem-solving, and computer navigation

    • Good physical condition
