Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and energetic Sales Manager to join a dynamic team in Stuttgart. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing and expanding the business by nurturing and developing relationships with existing customers. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills, fluent in both German and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current customers.

    • Act as the primary contact for all sales-related inquiries.

  2. Voice of Customer:

    • Clearly communicate customer needs and claims internally, particularly to Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing teams.

  3. Negotiation:

    • Lead negotiations on annual volumes, pricing, and contractual conditions.

    • Collaborate with the legal department and Sales Director on new contracts before submission for signature.

  4. Market Penetration:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry.

    • Develop strategies to deepen penetration into existing organizations and expand the customer base.

  5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.

    • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management.

    • Ensure all process flows are respected and initiated on time (contract review, debit/credit notes, price adjustments, etc.).

  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the automotive industry, with exposure to major Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

  • Languages: Fluency in both German and English is essential.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
