Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and energetic Sales Manager to join a dynamic team in Stuttgart. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing and expanding the business by nurturing and developing relationships with existing customers. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills, fluent in both German and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current customers.
Act as the primary contact for all sales-related inquiries.
Voice of Customer:
Clearly communicate customer needs and claims internally, particularly to Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing teams.
Negotiation:
Lead negotiations on annual volumes, pricing, and contractual conditions.
Collaborate with the legal department and Sales Director on new contracts before submission for signature.
Market Penetration:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry.
Develop strategies to deepen penetration into existing organizations and expand the customer base.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
Ensure all process flows are respected and initiated on time (contract review, debit/credit notes, price adjustments, etc.).
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales within the automotive industry, with exposure to major Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
Languages: Fluency in both German and English is essential.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven track record in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
