Role Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven International Business Developer to helm the P&L for a pivotal division. This high-impact role necessitates strong commercial insight, global market acumen, and strategic growth capabilities. Based in Hong Kong, the role involves frequent global travel to strengthen customer relationships and explore new business avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Direction:

    • Craft and execute the global strategy to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.

    • Own and manage the P&L, ensuring sustainable profitability.

    • Identify key markets and direct regional sales teams to capitalize on opportunities.

  2. Business Development:

    • Cultivate and enhance relationships with key global customers.

    • Collaborate with local sales teams to secure new business prospects.

    • Represent the division at international industry events and trade shows.

  3. Operational Excellence:

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, R&D) to deliver tailored customer solutions.

    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to drive product innovation.

    • Prepare forecasts and business plans, regularly assessing performance.

  4. Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and guide regional sales representatives to achieve unified business goals.

    • Facilitate communication and goal alignment between headquarters and local teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 8-10 years in global business development, sales, or P&L management in a multinational company.

  • Skills:

    • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal abilities.

    • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with comprehensive P&L expertise.

    • Multicultural competency and collaborative skills across time zones.

    • Proficient in strategic negotiation and relationship management.
